restaurant but it hides a big secret. Fresh Food! Every meal we have
had there has been prepared at that time. They don't reach into a
freezer and pull your hors d'œuvres out of the freezer or off a
serving line. They prepare the ingredients after you order and cook it up fresh. Since they make as they go, they can modify things if you want. Replace the meat with tofu, leave out the onions, etc. The Chef is an artist and not only is the food delicious, but its presentation is often creative. So what is Singaporean food? Singapore is a cosmopolitan city in the Orient near Malaysia, Thailand, and China. The menu at the Singapore Grille is strongly influenced by Thai cuisine. The Sesame Chardonnay Dressing is so delicious. We are generally bellicose about salad dressing, but this one is unique. We also like the ginger-peanut sauce, made fresh when ordered. The curry puffs are outstanding. Get there early since these are made in limited quantity and they go quickly. In vegetable mixtures, snow peas and baby cucumbers are cut in a unique way. The vegetable fried rice is the best we've ever tasted. Curry used in some of the dishes is excellent, and doesn't ruin your taste buds. Are you hungry yet? |
